Ministry at Sea
with Sail Northern Ireland

Alastair endorsed new ministry at sea

Alastair spent a morning sailing onboard a 43 foot yacht 'Kuta of carrick' owned by a member of the congregation  Dee Neill.  Dee runs a
charter cruising business, and is offering church's and other christian organisations special rates, to sail with him and his experienced crew.
Alastair gave a resounding endorsement to the type of fellowship that this environment could offer.  For example small groups, men's ministry, youth organisations, and other groups within the church.  He stated that it was a great way to improve your skills, such as responsibility, accountability, communications and to work as a team.

In the background is David Turner, myself the rpcwebmaster and Alastair McNeely, Minister at Rpc.  We have experienced at first hand the excitement and enjoyment that this type of fellowship can offer. This is not just for men, it's for anyone.
Joining Dee is Desi Fisher, a Further Education tutor.  He is part of the Sail NI team,  with many years of sailing experience under his belt.  He has worked with the Education Board at Killyleagh Sailing Centre, the Ocean Youth Trust, FOCUS Trust and is former Director of YMCA Greenhill.

Enjoying the thrill of going under sail

The webmaster takes the wheel.
"I can thoroughly recommend this as a day of fun, excitment, relaxation and great fellowship.  Have a go and enjoy, don't wait until your too old or not able.  This is a great experience and one you will talk about for years.  Dee and his crew have years of experience, with safety being the number one priority"

And the feeling of being pushed along at speed.

Well under sail in the open sea.

All the wet gear is provided, all you need to do is ensure you wear a pair of soft
soled shoes.

Join Dee and his crew and enjoy a great day or two, having fun and fellowship.
