Several Questions :-

How are we to grow as a Church? Grow 'out' in evangelism, or grow 'up' in Bible study, worship and prayer? or grow 'inward' in fellowship and service?
Who are we trying to impress or please or glorify? Ourselves? Visitors? GOD??  God tells us WHAT to DO and HOW to Worship.

We don't want to float along playing at Church - we want to do what God expects us to do. We look again at our purposes to
help focus on our work in 2005.

 THE COMMANDMENTS

The Ten Commandments were originally given by God to Moses on Mount Sinai, as recorded in the Old Testament.
EXODUS CHAPTER 20:

"I am the Lord your God....You shall have no other gods before me,
You shall not make for yourself an idol....
You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God....
Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy....
Honour your father and your mother....
You shall not murder....
You shall not commit adultery....
You shall not steal....
You shall not give false testimony....
You shall not covet....anything that belongs to your neighbour."

When asked which was the greatest commandment Jesus replied:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: "love your neighbour as yourself."
                          Matthew 22: 37 - 39
